Graduation Speech

So today was a big step in my journey to become a rabbi. Today I graduated from JTS, my second graduation this week, which makes me an official college grad and eligible to go on towards ordination and all that.

I was given the honor of speaking on behalf of my class today and I wanted to put the link in here just to have it with everything else. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbnbjOopy6A

I am really going to miss it here. I love living in my dorm, there is always so much going on and all of my friends live so close by. I will miss the vibrant Jewish life found here, the shabbat dinners, dorky Jewish jokes and spontaneous song and jam sessions. This is the life.

I'm going to stop because I don't want this entry to be too depressing. At the end of the day it is a good thing I am so upset about leaving because that means I really enjoyed my time here. I truly did. I had the privilege of coming to a unique school that was just such an amazing place not only because of the classes I took but also the people I had the opportunity to meet and get to know so well.
